Our firm has a RARE opportunity with a leading Global Equipment Manufacturer. This company has large market share, low turnover, outstanding proprietary features in their products, and offers an outstanding professional culture. They are also the leading manufacturer in their industry.
There is an opening in Knoxville for a Territory Sales Representative. The position has huge income growth potential. In this role the sales representative will inherit all existing business and be responsible for growing the territory (territory covers Knoxville and surrounding areas. 1-2 overnights maximum travel required. We are seeking candidates who have experience calling on hospitals, schools, cities, states, municipalities, manufacturers, etc.
ResponsibilitiesAlong with maintaining in-depth knowledge of all products, services, and applications, duties of the job include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Maximizing relationships with local and regional customers
- Identifying new vertical markets
- Determining the most effective method for reaching the end-user
- Making direct calls to end users to develop new accounts
- Generous Base $70k-$78k base + Uncapped Incentives will put this position in the $125K - $140K range at plan 1st year. Ability to make $150K+ year 2.
- Company provides a Company car, cell phone, laptop, expense account for travel + paid vacation, retirement package, 401k, tuition reimbursement, etc.
- Ideally 4 year degree but will look at 2-year associates degree
- At least 3-5 years B2B experience (sales/account management/business development)
- Experience developing and implementing sales, marketing or business development strategies.
