As a Security Officer – Perimeter Patrol in Knoxville, TN
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support operations by documenting observations, communicating clearly with team members and site personnel, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Thur 01:00 PM – 09:00 PM

Fri 01:00 PM – 09:00 PM

Sat 01:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and operational concerns.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic flow, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation as required, and assist with driver check-in and direction to designated docks and staging areas.
• Complete detailed reports and maintain activity logs, including patrol observations, incident documentation, and follow-up actions, and communicate updates during shift turnovers.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
