Walden Security is hiring for a weekend rover Saturday and Sunday . All KUB Security officers will complete a 40‑hour training with a supervisor. A unarmed security license for the state of Tennessee (conceal‑carry permits are not a security license) is required, and we have a trainer that can assist those who don't hold a valid Tennessee security license.
Weekend Rover will conduct regular patrols on foot in chosen locations and in a vehicle to monitor premises. Rovers check for security breaches, machinery malfunction noises and address concerns to management. They will respond quickly to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activities, acting as a first responder if needed and gathering preliminary investigative information. Rovers must be computer literate and be able to complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate inspection records for the company vehicle.
Employees for these posts must have a valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record (no more than one occurrence in the last 5 years), and be at least 25 years old to be covered under the Walden Security Auto Insurance Policy.
- Protect the industrial or commercial property of our clients against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry.
- Patrol assigned premises on foot and by vehicle during weekend shifts.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activities, acting as a first responder when necessary.
- Gather preliminary investigative information.
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate inspection records.
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum age 18 years
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- At least 25 years old (for insurance coverage)
