Weekend Security Officers

About the Role

We are looking for several part‑time security officers to work at multiple locations in Knoxville, TN. The positions are for weekends (Saturday or Sunday) with the following assignments and pay rates.

• Downtown Knoxville Building – Saturday & Sunday, 0700–1900, $16.25/hr (no driving required).
• Near UT Medical Center – Saturday & Sunday, 2000–0800, $16.00/hr (no driving required).
• Loudon Industrial Park (near 72 & I-40) – Gate attendant, 0700–1900, $14.75/hr (requires company vehicle).

• Monitor premises via CCTV to detect suspicious activity and enforce safety protocols.
• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential security risks or hazards.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents or disturbances, applying conflict‑management skills.
• Assist in loss prevention; observe and report theft or vandalism.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Mobility; must conduct foot patrols.
• Minimum 18 years old; for driving positions at least 25 years old.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Successful completion of a Tennessee Unarmed Public Protective Services class.

Initial training is provided and will qualify you for a Security Officer Certification.
