Field Service Technician - Short Term Project

This is a 1‑week contract position based in Knoxville/Chattanooga, TN. A TEKsystems client is upgrading/replacing POS systems at various store locations. As an IT Technician, you will remove existing Verifone MX925 devices, install Verifone M450 PIN pads, maintain cable hygiene, conduct testing, and document all work.

• Remove existing Verifone MX925 devices.
• Install Verifone M450 PIN pads according to the client’s documentation.
• Ensure all cables are securely connected, conceal routing, remove excess slack, eliminate trip hazards, and use approved cable management materials.
• Conduct testing and verification: perform successful test transactions with the Manager on Duty (MOD) and complete the client’s Pin Pad Verification Form for each register.
• Capture and upload required documentation to the client’s designated repository.

8:45 am M‑F, 4–8 hour shifts, normal business hours. The project spans one workweek: start date April 2, visiting several stores April 7‑10, and concluding April 14.
