Utility Trux - Technician

Utility Trux is seeking an experienced, dependable Utility Truck Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and installing equipment on utility trucks and other specialized equipment.

We are looking for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and getting the job done right.

Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems

Service and repair bucket trucks, aerial lifts, digger derricks, and related utility equipment

Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections

Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete repairs accurately and efficiently

Install new equipment, components, and accessories

Read and interpret electrical wiring and hydraulic diagrams

Maintain accurate service, inspection, and repair documentation

Identify potential safety or mechanical concerns before equipment is returned to service

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Follow company safety procedures and quality standards

Previous experience working with utility trucks, heavy equipment, diesel trucks, hydraulics, or similar equipment

Strong electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting abilities

Ability to read wiring schematics and hydraulic diagrams

Experience installing and repairing truck-mounted equipment preferred

Ability to work independently and efficiently

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
