Juvenile Justice Services Coordinator

The Juvenile Justice Services Coordinator at Helen Ross McNabb Center supports court-involved youth across East Tennessee through comprehensive case management and service coordination. This role conducts screenings and assessments, develops individualized service plans, and links youth and families to behavioral health, educational, and community resources. The Coordinator collaborates closely with courts, probation, schools, and treatment providers, monitors progress, and advocates for client needs.

Ideal candidates bring strong knowledge of juvenile justice systems, crisis intervention skills, and a passion for supporting vulnerable youth in a mission-driven, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and service coordination for court-involved and high-risk youth and their families.
• Conduct screenings and assessments to identify behavioral health, psychosocial, and criminogenic needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service and safety plans.
• Coordinate referrals to counseling, psychiatric care, substance use treatment, educational, and community resources.
• Collaborate with juvenile courts, probation officers, schools, and community partners to support client progress.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation, reports, and outcome data in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
• Engage youth and families using trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based approaches.
• Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and de-escalation as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, trainings, and case consultations.
• Advocate for client needs and support successful community integration and reduced recidivism.
