• Lead the design and development of complex, scalable data solutions that support strategic business goals.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and security through robust architecture, error handling, and compliance practices.
• Build and maintain efficient data pipelines using technologies such as SQL, Python, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, DBT, and Fivetran to enable timely and accurate data delivery.
• Mentor team members, promote engineering best practices, and collaborate across functions to improve processes and unlock business value.
• Proactively identify risks, drive automation and performance improvements, and provide technical leadership in high‑ambiguity environments.
• Lead initiatives around data lineage, privacy, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), partnering with legal, security, and business teams to align governance with enterprise strategy.
• Drive adoption of governance tools and practices across teams, ensuring data is used responsibly and within regulatory frameworks.

Drives technical direction for a team, delivering large, complex features across multiple systems while influencing team standards. With a minimum of 5 years in a Data Engineer role, the candidate will lead design and development of significant projects, set and enforce quality, security, and reliability standards, mentor others, conduct architecture reviews, and identify scaling, performance, and cost‑optimization opportunities. They will operate effectively with high ambiguity, balance engineering ideals with business priorities, and keep the team focused on measurable, impactful outcomes.
