Full Stack Developer
Minimum Requirements:
- Practical experience in two or more of the following languages:
Type Script, Python, CSS, bash, PHP, R, SQL, or perl. Python, Type Script, and CSS experience are particularly preferred. - Bachelors degree in a science or engineering or technology related discipline, with disciplines related to hydrology or ecology particularly preferred.
- At least two years practical experience as a full-stack software developer working with Earth science-relevant applications, including experience displaying and manipulating geospatial data. Experience working with hydrology or ecology-relevant applications and data is particularly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working in a team software development environment, contributing to shared goals.
- Practical experience working with developing maps and visualizations of geospatial tools.
- Practical experience with software development using git.
- Excellent communication skills, including writing documentation, developing and analyzing use cases, and presenting results to colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new material and technology rapidly and put that learning into effective practice.
