Senior Service Now Custom Application Developer

CGI is seeking a Senior Service Now Custom Application Developer to design, build, and support scalable Service Now scoped applications and custom platform solutions for a financial services environment. This role will focus on developing maintainable applications, automations, integrations, and workflows that align with enterprise architecture standards.

• Design, build, and support scalable Service Now scoped applications and custom platform solutions for financial services.
• Develop maintainable applications, automations, integrations, and workflows that align with enterprise architecture standards.
• Collaborate with Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and iterative development.

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing Service Now scoped applications and custom solutions.
• Hands‑on Service Now platform development experience, including Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions, and REST APIs.
• Experience integrating Service Now with AWS services and other external platforms.
• Working knowledge of Python for automation, integrations, and data processing.
• Ability to build scalable, maintainable solutions that align with enterprise architecture and security standards.
• Comfortable working in Agile delivery teams, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and iterative development.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools such as Git Hub Copilot, Service Now AI tools, or GenAI coding assistants.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience in financial services or similarly regulated enterprise environments is a plus.
• Service Now Certified Application Developer certification is required.
• AWS experience is preferred.

• AWS certification or additional Service Now certifications are a plus, but not explicitly required.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $85,100.00 – $.
