• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics
• CPR certified

• Ideal candidate has athletic or coaching experience with kids ages 12 months to 11 years old, but those who meet the must‑haves are welcome to apply
• Focus on coaching children on brain, physical, and character development from the evolving monthly curriculum
• Comfortable speaking to parents/guardians
• Classes run weekdays 9 am‑11 am and evenings until 7 pm; weekends 8 am to noon
• Opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on studio needs
• Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private party and camp coaching hours
• Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus but not required

• Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children, age groups ranging from roughly 12 months to 11 years old
• Teach the Kid Strong curriculum as provided by the HQ programming team
• Ensure classes start and end on schedule and follow the appropriate pace of curriculum
• Greet students and parents/guardians individually prior to and at the beginning of class
• Maintain a dynamic, fun, motivational, and professional demeanor when leading the class
• Demonstrate and manage the implementation of various exercises
• Ensure cleanliness of the center, including the lobby, bathrooms, and blue floors – taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping, wiping down equipment, and sanitizing the mats at the end of a shift
• Use the KS Coach’s App (iPad) to record class data and provide records of attendance, awards, etc.
• Communicate professionally with co‑workers and peers
• Complete paid training as required by the HQ Training and Certification team
• Work in a physically intensive environment – moving through class, lifting up to 25 lb
• Be comfortable working “hands‑on” with kids to ensure proper technique and safety
• Assist parents of students ages three and younger with the direction and flow of a class
• Attend monthly center staff programming meetings for curriculum training and mandatory sessions as required by the GM
• Help run Coach Kid Strong Camp – special classes held when local schools are not operating (e.g., Winter Break, Summer Break)
• Obtain certified status from the HQ Training and Certification team (training provided on the clock)
