ROUTE DRIVER

Description

S&S Tire, a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer, is seeking to add an experienced Route Driver to the Knoxville Wholesale team!

Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering tires to customers - safely operating 16' to 28' box trucks
• Pulling and loading tires
• Use of a handheld device to write up inventory
• Assisting in the warehouse after daily deliveries are completed, when necessary

• Compensation starting at $18/hr, based on experience
• Full-time position with weekly pay, offering frequent overtime
• Monday to Friday with 6:30 am start time until route is complete. Usually 10 hour shifts.

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience and 23 years of age
• Good vehicle safety record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years)
• Valid driver's license - in good standing
• Forklift license is a plus
