Pay: $17-$19

Key Responsibilities

Work alongside other Truck Drivers and Helpers to build a strong, Christ-centered team environment.

Safely operate a straight box truck throughout the workday

Pick up, transport, and deliver donated items between donor locations and KARM Store Observe all traffic laws and operate the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner

Partner with the Donation Truck Helper to load and unload furniture and donated items carefully.

Protect donors, team members, property, and donated goods during pickups and deliveries

Maximize truck space and ensure items are loaded securely.

Provide respectful, professional service in donors’ homes, offices, or businesses

Communicate appreciation to donors on behalf of KARM Stores.

Safely use equipment such as a lift gate, 2-wheel dolly, 4-wheel dolly, tie-down straps, and other moving tools as needed.

Qualifications

Valid Tennessee driver’s license required.

Class D with F endorsement or CDL required, as applicable.

Must provide proof of personal vehicle insurance to verify insurability.

Must have a good driving record.

Must comply with Hands Free Tennessee law.

Ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy furniture and donated items.

Comfortable working on a truck route and in a warehouse environment.

Ability to use a cell phone, tablet, and GPS.Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.

Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Basic computer skills, including keyboard and internet/browser use.

Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.

Must be a team player with a positive attitude and a servant’s heart.

Must support the mission of KARM Stores.

Physical Demands Physical Activity Level This role requires heavy physical activity, including lifting, carrying, and moving large furniture items.

Stand or walk while moving furniture: 60% of the time

Sit as a passenger in a truck cab: 25% of the time

Use hands for typing/tablet/computer entry: 10% of the time Handle paperwork/documents: 5% of the time

Lift up to 100 pounds: 20% of the time

Lift up to 50 pounds: 50% of the time Manual Dexterity Must be able to:

Hold and move heavy furniture items

Work with tie-down straps in a truck cargo boxUse a cell phone and tablet touchpad

Complete limited keyboard entry for daily hours worked
