Position Summary:

The Class A Operator is responsible for operating vehicles and equipment requiring a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), ensuring safe and efficient delivery of goods or materials. This role involves adhering to safety standards, maintaining vehicle integrity, and supporting operational logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Class A vehicles in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Ensure safe and timely transport of materials, products, or waste.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate driver logs and reports as required by law and company policy.
Follow assigned routes and schedules, making adjustments as necessary.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly.
Work collaboratively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and other operators.
Demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism.
Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and environmental policies.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.
Minimum [X] years of driving experience with Class A vehicles (insert appropriate number).
Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
Knowledge of DOT regulations.
Basic mechanical skills and ability to conduct vehicle checks.
