Supply Chain Tech II Full Time Days

BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Provides operational support for supply chain activities including inventory control, receiving, distribution, and warehouse management to ensuretimelyandaccurateavailability of supplies for patient care and departmental needs.

Work Experience:

2-4years of healthcare supply chainor inventory management experience preferred.

• Knowledge of basic supply chain and inventory control principles
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• ManagePARlevels for assigned clinical areas and departments and monitor utilization trends to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained for patient care.
• Performroutinecyclecounts, pulling, rotating, and restocking of inventory&PARlocations(stocking to the back of bins using FIFOmethodology), and investigate any inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked supply areas across all assigned locations and central distribution, ensuring compliance with hospital standards. Includingdisposal ofcardboard, packing materials and trasheach shift.
• Collaborate with department leaders to adjust PAR levels, add/remove products, andoptimizeinventory.
• Assist with product recalls and regulatory compliance processes.
• Restock allcentral distributionareas daily and across shifts; maintain a “pick-ready” environment at all timeswithno opencardboard.
• Receive, inspect,and openall packages to verifycontentsagainst purchase orders and packing slips.
  
  Verify distributor deliveries to confirmthecorrect items and quantities received.
• Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goodsat time of deliveryandassistwith resolution
• Maintainaccuraterecords of shipments, returns, and discrepanciesandfileaccordingly.
• Prioritize receiving and delivery of urgent or critical items
• Ensure deliveries are made to thecorrectlocationand capture the delivery in Workdaywith the appropriate photodocumentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient receiving area
• Assist departments with supply needs and inquiries.
  
  Answer incoming calls andservicewindowas needed.
• Accuratelyprocess and issue supplies prior to leaving the warehouse.
• Process and deliverdepartmentalsupplyrequisitionstothe correctlocationsand ensure packing slipsaccompanyall deliveries.
• Participateandassistwith annual physical inventory processes.
• Train and mentor Supply Chain Tech Istaff.

• Heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling is required up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20-30 lbs frequently, and 10lbs constantly to move objects of up to 150 lbs. Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure to lifting or moving of up to 150 lbs. Frequent bending, walking, sitting squatting, reaching, and standing are required. Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
