Electrical Shift Engineer – Knutsford

Salary: £45,000 – £47,000 + Excellent Benefits

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and plant.
• Respond to reactive maintenance and fault‑finding on electrical services.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently.
• Complete statutory inspections and compliance checks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Assist with minor installation works and electrical improvements.
• Conduct technical surveys and report findings.
• Liaise with the client and provide excellent customer service.
• Work safely in accordance with current health and safety legislation.
• Act as LV Authorised Person where applicable (training can be provided).

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Previous experience carrying out electrical maintenance within commercial buildings.
• Strong fault‑finding and reactive maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance.
• IPAF and PASMA training desirable.
• Experience in large commercial or corporate environments advantageous.
• LV/HV Authorised Person experience desirable but not essential (training can be provided).

• Basic salary £41,000 – £42,000.
• Shift allowance £5,000.
• Continental shift pattern: 4 on/6 off – 6 on/4 off – 4 on/4 off (7am – 7pm, 7pm – 7am).
