A&R Executive

Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic A&R (Artists & Repertoire) Executive to join our
music team. This role is central to identifying, evaluating, and nurturing music talent, ensuring
promising songs are brought to the forefront and developed into successful projects. The ideal
candidate will have deep industry knowledge, a sharp ear for potential, and exceptional
relationship-building skills with artists.
Key Responsibilities
● Artist Scouting & Relationship Management
○ Proactively meet and engage with emerging and established artists across
genres.
○ Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with artists, managers, and
creative collaborators.
○ Serve as the main point of contact for artists throughout the scouting and
production lifecycle.
● Music Evaluation & Internal Presentation
○ Listen to demo submissions and unreleased music.
○ Filter and curate tracks that show strong potential.
○ Present selected tracks to the internal Listening Panel for evaluation.
● Project Coordination
○ For songs approved by the panel, coordinate a formal meeting with the Head
of the Music Team to discuss next steps.
○ Collaborate with legal, marketing, and production teams as needed to ensure a
seamless artist experience.
● Artist Liaison Throughout the Project Lifecycle
○ Provide end-to-end support to artists, from initial engagement to project launch.
○ Facilitate creative discussions, feedback loops, and logistical coordination.
○ Ensure artists feel valued, supported, and creatively free during the entire
process.
Required Skills & Qualities
● Exceptional ear for music and trend awareness
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
● Proven ability to maintain strong rapport with artists
● Comfortable navigating both creative and commercial conversations
● Highly organised with attention to detail and timelines
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
Preferred Background
● 1–3 years of experience in A&R, music management, or artist-facing roles
● Strong industry network with indie and mainstream artists
● Educational background in music, entertainment, media, or a related field is a plus
