Alaska Airlines, a leading U.S. carrier based in Sea Tac, Washington, is seeking a Station Agent to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this customer-facing role, you'll assist passengers with check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and airport inquiries while ensuring safe, efficient operations on the ground. You'll coordinate with flight, gate, and ramp teams to support on-time performance and an exceptional travel experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist passengers at ticket counters, kiosks, and gates with check-in, boarding, and arrival services
  • Verify identification and travel documents, issue boarding passes, and process checked and carry-on baggage
  • Support aircraft arrival and departure activities, including guiding aircraft and loading/unloading baggage and cargo as assigned
  • Operate computer reservation and departure control systems to check in passengers, process changes, and handle irregular operations
  • Provide clear, courteous communication to customers regarding flight status, policies, and service options
  • Coordinate closely with gate, ramp, and flight crews to support on-time departures and safe operations
  • Handle cash and electronic payments accurately for fees, upgrades, and other services in accordance with company policies
  • Monitor and adhere to all FAA, TSA, airport, and company safety and security regulations and report any concerns
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, including lifting luggage and working in varying weather conditions
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture by collaborating with team members and demonstrating Alaska Airlines' values of safety, care, resourcefulness, and stewardship
