The Department of Business and Public Administration at the University of Alaska Southeast is accepting applications for adjunct faculty members for the academic year 2024‑2025. Applicants must have experience, education, or certification in Management, Human Resources, Non‑Profit Organizations, Public Administration, International Business, or related business fields. This position is a temporary teaching role for individuals seeking professional teaching experience and a passion for educating students.

Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to teach effectively in an online environment.
  • Knowledge of accepted instructional methods.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with technology for instruction (e.g., Blackboard).
Minimum Qualifications
  • Terminal degree (or equivalent) as defined by the academic unit and appropriate for the position.
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience in the field or courses to be taught.

Preferred Experience: Teaching in face‑to‑face, hybrid, online synchronous, and asynchronous modalities; use of technology to support teaching and learning.

Position Details

This is a temporary faculty position. Salary is based on the number of previous semesters teaching experience within the University of Alaska.
