WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:This position is part of the Division of Alaska Wildlife Troopers, and the incumbent of this position will serve as a deckhand onboard the P/V Stimson, a 156-foot patrol vessel in Kodiak. The Boat Officer I assists in operation and maintenance of the vessel including skiff and outboards. This position performs a full range of duties including: working as a deck hand, procurement, meal planning and preparation, operation of the deck crane, and assisting with maintenance of vessel machinery.
