Overview
Under direct supervision this position is accountable to the bedside RN and charge nurse to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family and providers in the department in completion of the duties delegated to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the needs of the patient through the RN and Charge Nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.

Hours and ShiftsHours: Full Time (3) 12-Hour Shifts per week
Shifts: Day & Night Shift based on current needs.
Premium Pay Differentials:
- Nights: 4.00/hr
- Weekends: 2.20/hr
Resource Pool / Orthopedic Unit / Surgical Unit / Progressive Care Unit
Required qualifications- Coursework/Training and Medical Terminology course Or Successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test within 90 days of hire.
- Within 30 days of hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- 6 months of Health care experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
