Overview
The College of Health is seeking student employees to work with faculty researchers. Successful applicants will assist with classroom, laboratory, or other research projects on an as‑needed basis during the academic year or summer. This pooled position requires flexibility, open‑hour availability (including nights and weekends), and the ability to work independently after training.
Responsibilities- Assistance with field and laboratory research activities.
- Complete tasks promptly with minimal supervision.
- Communicate effectively with faculty and research staff.
- Follow laboratory procedures and maintain safety standards (for applicable positions).
- Enrolled in the University of Alaska system with at least six credit hours in the current semester.
- Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
- Be dependable and capable of working independently after training.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
The starting hourly rate is $11.34 per hour. Pay may be higher based on experience and project needs.
