Senior Mental Health Counselor Masters - Providence Kodiak Island

Position Overview

The Senior Psychiatric Consult Liaison Clinician serves as a member of the inpatient psychiatric consult liaison service, demonstrating clinical expertise in the provision of services involving psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and implementation, and crisis intervention. The clinician plans, directs, and provides professional psychiatric and substance abuse assessment, treatment, and discharge planning using a multidisciplinary approach, and coordinates care planning with team members.

Location:

Providence Kodiak Alaska Mental Health Center, Kodiak Island, AK.

• Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related health field.
• Upon hire:
  Alaska Masters Social Worker License, or Alaska Clinical Social Worker License, or Alaska Psychologist License, or Alaska Marriage and Family Therapist License, or Alaska Professional Counselor License.
• 2 years clinical experience in behavioral health.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.

Pay range: $41.81 - $64.91 per hour. Additional compensation may be available via shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
