Key Responsibilities- Assist in the management of a retail activity with sales less than $14 M, including receipt, stocking, pricing, inventorying, transfer, replenishment, and warehousing of merchandise.
- Provide customer service, resolve complaints, and assist customers in selecting merchandise.
- Interview, hire, train, and oversee assigned personnel; coach and develop employees to provide growth opportunities.
- Assist in developing promotional sales and work with vendors to execute operations of assigned departments.
- Supervise vending and warehouse operations; welcome customers and maintain product knowledge.
- Key carrier and open/close the store as required, including scheduled weekends.
- Review monthly P&L statements, compare actual figures to plan, and initiate action plans to bring results in line when needed.
- Direct and supervise other employees; be responsible for overall store operations in the manager’s absence.
- Ensure adherence to Loss Prevention policies, maintain shrink controls, and monitor the Alert Line.
- Ensure all associates comply with safety standards and emergency preparedness requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Minimum- Two years of progressively responsible experience equivalent to a lead/supervisor level, demonstrating leadership, operational oversight, and customer service management, or completion of the CGX Leadership Development program (LDP).
- Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds; able to stand for long periods of time.
- Prior retail merchandising experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with emphasis in retail or business administration, or general business experience substituting one year for one year.
- Experience with P&L analysis.
- Current U.S. Coast Guard NAF department supervisor.
