Responsibilities
Expert level clinician with the ability to support and direct patient care services. Responsible for overall throughput of patients in a safe, efficient manner while ensuring optimal utilization of resources (including but not limited to caregivers, equipment and supplies) to meet patient care needs. Position is responsible as a single point of contact for caregivers, physicians, and others for patient transfer or placement.
Position promotes patient satisfaction as a leader by demonstration of extraordinary service to ensure that quality patient care is delivered in accordance with Providence Health & Services' mission, vision and values. Position has authority to make leadership decisions, provide direction and oversight with operational issues for all hospital departments on behalf of Administration during assigned shift. Works in collaboration with Administrator on Call for after-hours issues.

Alaska Registered Nurse License - Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association - 1 year of Charge Nurse or leadership experience and demonstrated leadership abilities.

The wage range for this position is $62.90 - $99.31, with additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
