Registered Nurse; RN - L&D

L&D Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Shift: 3 x 12-hour, variable Guaranteed

Hours:

60 hours per 2 weeks

Patient Census: ~10 deliveries/month

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
• Key clinical competencies:
• Vaginal and cesarean delivery support, couplet care
• Newborn assessment/thermoregulation, neonatal resuscitation basics
• Fetal monitoring (external & internal experience), recognition/treatment of abnormal FHR
• Management of postpartum hemorrhage, magnesium sulfate, oxytocin/Pitocin
• IV starts/infusion pump use, blood product administration, epidural/anesthesia assistance
• Discharge teaching and breastfeeding support

• Travelers limited to a maximum 1 calendar year at facility; 6-month break required before returning
