Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated nurse to provide exceptional patient-centered care at a medical center in Kodiak, Alaska. This position involves applying specialized nursing skills to deliver high-quality healthcare with compassion and human connection. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care, collaborating with health teams, and ensuring compliance with licensing and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Delivering world-class clinical care with a focus on whole-person health
- Assessing patient needs and developing care plans
- Providing direct patient care and education
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, safety, and institutional policies
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Strong communication, compassion, and teamwork skills
