Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Kodiak, AK | Acute Care / Long Term Care / Outpatient

Contract | Days, 5x8 Hours (7:00–15:30) | On-Site

• Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting within an acute care environment
• Participate in on-call coverage as required, including weekend on-call shifts
• Chart and document patient information using Epic
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities as needed to meet staffing requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

• Experience working in a Level IV Trauma or Critical Access Hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Flexibility with scheduling, including block schedule arrangements

• Facility-provided housing (1-bedroom apartment) is available for the duration of the assignment at no cost to the traveler
• Guaranteed hours of 72 per two-week period, with free on-site parking
