Position

Cashier Checker (Full Time, 30-40 hours/week, $15.00/hour + DOE)

Kodiak, AK

May – October. Leave without pay November – April.

• Receive cash or credit card payments, give change, and maintain sales records.
• Turn in sales records, money, checks or charge slips at the end of each shift, and account for all monies.
• Provide information on availability of goods, prices, and condition of merchandise.
• Keep records of customer traffic, identify trends, and collect customer comments or complaints.
• Prepare requisitions for items sold, ensure proper stock levels, and secure stock at close of business.
• Clean the counter and serving area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to operate a cash register.
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) at a level sufficient to complete required reports.
• Must be 18 years of age or older (due to alcohol sales).
