STRUCTURES MAINTENANCE HELPER| SIX MILE, LLC

Reports to: Structures Manager

The Structures Maintenance Helper will assist in the skilled maintenance trades by performing general duties.

• Supplies materials and tools to Journeyman worker.
• Assist plumber journeyman worker on site with repairs or replacement of sinks, faucets, toilets; may assist in securing water supply for fixture or appliance repair or replacement.
• Assists electrical journeyman worker on site with maintenance and repair of electrical issues as directed. Replaces bulbs and without supervision.
• Assists HVAC journeyman worker on site with diagnosing issues and preventative maintenance.
• Assists appliance journeyman with routine maintenance and transporting appliance.
• Assist carpentry journeyman on site with carpentry repair and routine maintenance.
• Perform specialized machine operation or routine maintenance with specific.
• direction from the trade’s journeyman worker on site.
• All other relevant duties assigned.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience working in relevant Maintenance Trades field.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening.

The majority of your work will be performed in an indoor setting, where you will interact with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities, located throughout the country.

This position is generally active, requiring routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. Employee must maintain a constant state of mental alertness at all times.

The employees will need to move around to attend meetings, access shared resources, and collaborate with team members.
