Job Summary: Knik is looking for a Construction Truck Driver

Responsibilities:

  • Attendance and timeliness are essential functions of this position.
  • Secure transportation of material products to designated locations.
  • Verify the type of material hauled and its weight accurately.
  • Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Comply with all company safety policies, including the use of protective equipment and Fit for Work guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Requirements:

  • High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equal experience.
  • Experience driving end dumps, belly dumps, and side dump trucks with aggregate/asphalt hauling is preferred.
  • Some knowledge of heavy construction equipment.
  • Demonstrated decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-production environment efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ensures a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
  • Pre-hire drug test required.
