Customer Service Representative Patient Registration

Location & Shift

Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo. Shift: 7:30AM – 4:00PM, rotating weekends and holidays.

Customer Service Representative – Patient Registration. You will be the first friendly face patients meet when they check into the hospital, guiding them through the registration process and ensuring accurate, compassionate service.

• Help patients navigate the registration process and answer questions with confidence and clarity.
• Gather accurate information quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
• Build trust with patients who may be scared, confused, or overwhelmed.
• Answer phones and gather information efficiently.
• Assist patients who may be ill, anxious, or confused.
• Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details (training provided).
• Adapt to interruptions from clinical teams during urgent care situations.
• Build rapport and ease patient concerns in real time.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Ability to pass background check, drug test, and meet vaccination requirements.
• Preferred:
  Medical or healthcare experience (but not required).

Base pay range: $16.12 – $23.21 per hour, based on role, level, location, skills and experience.
