Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychology – Indiana University Kokomo

The Department of Psychology at Indiana University Kokomo invites applications for a full time, 10-month, Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychology position beginning August 1, 2025. Information about the department and our facilities can be found at this link.

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate psychology courses as well as courses in a hybrid (fifty percent online and fifty percent face to face) Masters in Mental Health Counseling program. Courses may include but are not limited to: foundations of mental health counseling, group counseling, career counseling, supervision, assessment, addictions, and special topics seminars. Candidates will also teach in our undergraduate psychology program, including courses in general psychology, abnormal psychology, helping skills and ethics, and other courses in their area of expertise as well as supervising undergraduate practica.

Experience supervising practica, using course management systems, and teaching online are highly desirable.

This position is non-tenure track and does not have a research expectation as part of the job duties. A successful candidate is expected to work toward promotion by their sixth year by demonstrating their effectiveness in teaching.
