Job Summary:
Provide diverse learning opportunities for early childhood classroom using hands-on learning and interaction. Plan daily social-emotional, literacy, and foundational mathematical learning experiences based on early childhood foundations and developmentally appropriate strategies for curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Serve as Teacher of Record and provide support and/or instruction for Head Start students with IEPs. Collaborate closely with other staff members. Follow all mandatory Head Start and state-licensing requirements.
Certification and
Qualifications:
Valid Indiana Teaching License with Special Education certification and credentials to work with Early Childhood or Pre-k/Kindergarten students;
Ability to work with young children;
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
