Patient Support Specialist – Floater position

We are looking for a friendly and organized Patient Support Specialist to join our team! In this role, you’ll travel to different offices within the Central Indiana region to support Primary Care technicians, opticians, and patient services representatives. Your assignments will vary depending on workload and staff needs, so every day brings something new.
Locationand Compensation
Traveling position supporting multiple Midwest practices in Central Indiana.
Wage: $17.00-$18.00 per hour.
What You’ll Do- Assist at multiple offices with administrative and clinical tasks.
- Support Primary Care technicians, opticians, and patient services staff.
- Adapt to different office needs and learn new processes quickly.
- Take a proactive approach to training and professional development.
- Help maintain smooth operations while providing exceptional patient support.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an optometry environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Polite, professional, and courteous with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to motivate and support a team environment.
- Proactive, adaptable, and ready for a fast-paced, varied schedule.
- Mileage reimbursement every two weeks.
- Hands‑on experience across multiple offices.

- Sedentary work, primarily sitting.
- Requires talking, hearing, and visual acuity to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.
