Position Overview
This part‑time Plasma Donor Screener position at Bio Life requires 4‑6 hour shifts, 3 or more days per week. The role involves answering phones, greeting donors, screening and performing phlebotomy, maintaining donor records, and supporting center operations.
Responsibilities- Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring donor and team safety.
- Screen new and repeat donors and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results.
- Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
- Identify operational improvement opportunities and initiate changes to center processes using approved procedures.
- Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk/stand for the full shift.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
- Ability to lift up to 5lbs., occasionally up to 32lbs., and rarely up to 50lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Requires prolonged glove wear for 90% of work tasks due to potential exposure to blood borne pathogens (risk level1).
- Minimum one year of customer or patient‑facing experience is helpful.

CompensationLocation:
USA – IN – Kokomo
Starting hourly wage: $16.00 (in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements).
