STARPLUS ENERGY LLC is seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented Fire Safety Supervisor to join our Disaster Prevention Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supervising and supporting the operational and administrative functions essential to the success of our Fire Prevention and Emergency Response Programs. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of Fire Protection systems, Emergency Response skills, the ability to lead a team, strong attention to detail, and a passion for building and contributing to a strong organization.
This position reports to the Risk Prevention and Response Manager.
- Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
- Identify staff development and training needs and ensures that training is completed.
- Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for violations of codes and standards.
- Monitor CCTV cameras, Fire Prevention Systems, and schedules systems.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping of incidents, inspections, and events.
- Direct and administer The Hot Work Program.
- Duties may be modified at any time to meet business needs.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- High School diploma
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- This role may require travel, with reasonable prior notice (domestic and/or international).
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
- Experience inspecting and monitoring Fire Protection Systems
- Experience in a role involving Emergency Response duties
- Experience with Hot Work Programs or familiarity with EHS administration
- Ability to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicals
- Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to operate basic office equipment.
- Ability to work in front of a computer for extended periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to work 12‑hour shifts
- Must be able to walk, climb stairs, bend, and lift repeatedly.
