- Organize, control, and supervise subordinates, ensuring timely completion of tasks in accordance with expected standards, including education and training plans
- Manage maintenance, repair, and functionality of production equipment, including the procurement of necessary materials and services
- Lead investigations and cause analysis of defects, enforce continuous improvement activities to optimize efficiency in quality and process systems and continuously monitor quality and process systems
- Monitor production machines, support production, and enhance production efficiency by analyzing key parameters
- Coordinate with vendors for MRO & spare parts procurement and manage yearly budget plans.
- Utilize supporting systems (MAXIMO, MES) for maintenance and manufacturing execution
- Review documentation of maintenance tasks, consider suggestions, and take appropriate measures for repair and prevention
- Perform other position related duties as assigned
Basic:
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in high volume manufacturing environment in engineering or maintenance roles
- Proven track record of performance in project management, cost, problem solving, engineering principles, people management and priority management
- Previous managerial experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels of the organization
- Skill in mechanical and electronic maintenance
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
- Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines
- Experience in Line Balance (LOB) and Bottleneck Analysis for machines and production lines
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel or other database application
- Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicals
- Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Salary within the posted range is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
