Safely and effectively implement the established finished goods inventory and conversion procedures as directed by the Finished Goods Demand Planner while interacting with conversion source, sales, production control, shipping, and warehouse personnel. Maintain and update documentation of all processes for role as needed to keep current. Complete ad hoc assignments related to finished goods.
QualificationsEducation
:
High school diploma or equivalent;
Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience
:
Computer systems, Microsoft Excel; 1-3 years of manufacturing or warehouse processes.
Areas of Knowledge
:
Safety, Product, Scheduling, Systems, Quality Control, Administration.
Skills
:
Communication, Math, Windows-based computer literacy, Organizational skills, ability to process a large workload with multiple priorities.
- Manage Conversion process
- Prepare cut to length and marking instructions
- Send prepared paperwork to the conversion source
- Process production paperwork from conversion source
- Maintain and adjust Tracking Log with actual material cut to determine scrap loss
- View Shop Floor to determine order/material has passed tests and is ready to certify
- Submit paperwork to quality for certification
- Coordinate and document shipment of material to Service Centers
- Process and coordinate consolidation shipments for overseas affiliates and Kokomo
- Coordinate sampling of material at conversion source for Engineering
- Collaborate with conversion source and within department to seek continuous improvement of processes.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies related to coil processing and conversion invoices.
- Process Administration - Process, approve, and send to Accounts payable - conversion source invoices.
- Consistent / professional communication with Finished Goods co-workers, conversion source, service centers, sales, engineering, quality, and production control.
- Respond to sales and production control personnel requests in a timely manner
