Battery Production Operator – Swing Shift; Temp

Metro Services is hiring Production Operators for a position located in Kokomo, IN. This is a temp‑to‑hire role.

• Operator manufacturing equipment
• Conduct quality checks
• Basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance throughout the production process
• Collect qualifying products and package them for shipment
• Monitor and interact with computerized manufacturing equipment to produce batteries and check equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity
• Check all work orders, instructions, and specifications on the production check sheet before starting every production lot

USD $16.00/hour

Rotating swing shift: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm / 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. Must be flexible.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Clean background and drug screen
• Flexible with work schedule, willing to work overtime when needed
• Work in hot and cold environments
• Wear all safety equipment including safety glasses, sleeve protectors, earplugs, and steel‑toed shoes
• Stand or walk for long periods each day
• Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift to 40 pounds
• Work in tight or closed spaces
