Position Summary:

Stellantis is seeking Battery Team Members to perform a variety of functions. In this role, selected individuals may be responsible for performing a variety of jobs in battery assembly. The operator is responsible for operating the standard procedures of lithium‑ion battery production with manufacturing equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Conduct quality checks and ensure strict compliance with quality and safety regulations and standards, including submission to an annual blood test and/or color blindness exam (Ishihara test)
Engage in basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance throughout the production process, including equipment inspections
Collect qualifying products and package for shipment
Monitor and interact with computerized manufacturing equipment to produce batteries; regularly check equipment to ensure normal operating activity
Work in a team environment and effectively communicate throughout the organization
Check all work orders, instructions, and specifications on the production check sheet before starting every production lot
Perform other position‑related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years of age
Must be eligible to work in the United States
While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
Ability to work multi‑shift, alternative work schedules, overtime, weekends, or holidays as required

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous manufacturing experience

Working Conditions:

Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time
Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 40 pounds frequently
Ability to work in tight or closed spaces
Ability to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicals
Ability to work in hot and cold environments
Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function
To safely perform the essential functions of the position you must be able to distinguish colors
