The Team Lead must be able to perform the essential skills of the production area they are leading.

The Team Lead follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and works in a manner consistent with all corporate, regulatory, quality, and sanitation requirements.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum High school Diploma or Equivalency
  • Leadership Experience
  • Industry Experience

Skills Requirements:

  • Must be able to read, write, and demonstrate verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and rules

Essential Job Functions (Must be able to perform the essential functions listed below with or without accommodations):

  • Must be able to perform the essential skills of the production area they are leading
  • Monitor/verify HACCP documentation
  • Ensure all records are completed accurately
  • Ensure all employees are following GMP’s
  • Work in conjunction with maintenance to improve OEE
  • Understand basic mechanical functions of machinery
  • Ensure people and procedures are applied in an efficient and effective manner while achieving quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure team members follow manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements.
  • Ensure the team is aware of day-to-day targets and responsibilities.
  • Consistently promote high standards, through personal example, so that each team member understands the standards and behavior expected of them.
  • Communicate closely with plant manager on employee performance
  • Report issues/problems to immediate supervisor.
  • Actively committed to team development.
  • Support and comply with all policies and procedures set in place by Park 100 Foods.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Performs tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to push and pull more than 50lbs.
  • Working in varying environmental conditions-hot, cold, wet, and dry
  • Ability to wear all required Workplace Safety PPE
  • Ability to wear all required Food Safety PPE

This role is eligible for overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 hours in a week and may also be eligible for additional hourly premiums for perfect attendance and/or working evening or night shifts.
