Are you a natural leader with a passion for occupational health, workplace safety, and clinical excellence? We are seeking a dynamic Nurse Manager (RN) to serve as the clinical and operational backbone of our Occupational Health Services team.
Key Responsibilities:- Clinical Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing and support personnel, ensuring all clinical practices strictly align with established standards and scope of practice.
- Operations & Staffing: Oversee team hiring, shift scheduling, and onboarding to maintain seamless coverage across all operations.
- Case Management & Compliance: Actively manage workers’ compensation cases while ensuring rigid compliance with OSHA, state, federal, and legal reporting frameworks. Maintain absolute medical confidentiality.
- Safety Coordination: Support facility safety and ergonomic initiatives, partner with plant leadership, and ensure supervisors and team members strictly follow prescribed modified/restricted duty programs.
- Cross-Functional Strategy: Participate in facility leadership meetings to provide key data updates, health trends, and occupational safety reports.
- Education: Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required. (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 2+ years of healthcare management/supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of occupational health nursing or a highly relevant acute/emergency nursing field is preferred.
- Technical Savvy: Proficient basic computer skills with the ability to confidently navigate electronic medical record (EMR) documentation systems.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills paired with independent, rapid problem-solving abilities.
- Physical Capability: Must be able to walk unassisted through a manufacturing plant environment, scale stairs, quickly respond to on-site medical emergencies, swiftly assess team members, and perform CPR if required.
