Position Overview
The Telemetry Medical Surgical (TMS) unit at Howard Regional Health in Kokomo offers a Registered Nurse position. The unit is a 30‑bed, mixed medical‑surgical unit with telemetry capabilities and serves as the designated Stroke Unit.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of the organization.
- Manage patient care across the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum, safe, and cost‑effective outcomes.
- Employ skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource management.
- Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited nursing program, or have three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana, as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
