Job Description
Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) supporting plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review lab results, and provide support under guidance of Center Manager and Physician.
Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history interview, physical exam, blood testing, and SPE review.
- Manage donor adverse events and evaluate reactions per SOPs, including activating emergency transport.
- Refer medical or technical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs and handle unacceptable findings.
- Support employee Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs.
- Manage employee incidents and consult occupational health/EHS as required.
- Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS, supporting investigations and local community threat assessments.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements.
- Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensed in the state of assignment.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Fulfillment of state IV therapy requirements.
- Completion of FDA approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
- Minimum two years experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

CompensationU.S. hourly wage range: $33.44 – $45.98. Actual hourly wage based on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location. Wage in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements.
