Hours vary from 6 AM to 7 Pm Monday through Friday.

Community Surgery Center Howard has an excellent opportunity available within our Pre/post/PACU surgical care team located in Kokomo, IN. The Pre/post/PACU Registered Nurse will be responsible for performing direct patient care postoperatively as part of a surgical care team. Assessing, documenting and managing postoperative pain. Assessing airway adequacy and intervening quickly and appropriately when necessary. Cardiac monitoring and interpretation. Must demonstrate understanding and knowledge of all phases of recovery nursing principles and expectations.

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• 2 years experience is required for PRN positions and we are seeking experience in Pre-Post/PACU, ICU or ED.
