Position Summary
Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes and organization? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through follow recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders.
It’s hard work, but our bakery team finds it rewarding, especially since they’re a part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

- Be an Expert: Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment; follows recipes/make‑up instructions; wraps, labels, and stores merchandise according to company policies and procedures; ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; and demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
- Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizes handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Ensures operational excellence, maintains the work area according to company policies and procedures; enforces quality and date‑control standards for bakery items; secures fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; and ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Competitive pay ranging from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, with possible additional premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
