What You’ll Do
  • Conduct in-home visits and assessments for families involved in child welfare cases
  • Develop and monitor safety and service plans tailored to individual needs
  • Document all case activities accurately and thoroughly
  • Support case management tasks including preparing reports and recommendations for court
  • Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to ensure child safety
  • Maintain case files in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to support professional growth
What You Need
Required:
  • Valid Indiana social work license or willingness to obtain it
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively
Preferred:
  • Prior experience in child welfare, investigations, or related social services
  • Knowledge of local community resources and safety planning
About the Position
This role involves supporting families through child safety evaluations, safety planning, and case documentation. The position provides a hybrid work environment with equipment provided and aligns with best practices in child and family services. The focus is on ensuring the well-being and safety of children by conducting in-home assessments and working collaboratively with community agencies.
