- Experience: Prior experience in child welfare or social services preferred but not mandatory

- Conduct in-home visits and assessments for families involved in child welfare cases
- Develop and monitor safety and service plans tailored to individual needs
- Document all case activities accurately and thoroughly
- Support case management tasks including preparing reports and recommendations for court
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to ensure child safety
- Maintain case files in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to support professional growth
Required:
- Valid Indiana social work license or willingness to obtain it
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively
- Prior experience in child welfare, investigations, or related social services
- Knowledge of local community resources and safety planning
This role involves supporting families through child safety evaluations, safety planning, and case documentation. The position provides a hybrid work environment with equipment provided and aligns with best practices in child and family services. The focus is on ensuring the well-being and safety of children by conducting in-home assessments and working collaboratively with community agencies.
