What You’ll Do

Conduct in-home visits and assessments for families involved in child welfare cases
Develop and monitor safety and service plans tailored to individual needs
Document all case activities accurately and thoroughly
Support case management tasks including preparing reports and recommendations for court
Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to ensure child safety
Maintain case files in compliance with regulatory standards
Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to support professional growth

What You Need
Required:

Valid Indiana social work license or willingness to obtain it
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage caseloads effectively

Preferred:

Prior experience in child welfare, investigations, or related social services
Knowledge of local community resources and safety planning

About the Position
This role involves supporting families through child safety evaluations, safety planning, and case documentation. The position provides a hybrid work environment with equipment provided and aligns with best practices in child and family services. The focus is on ensuring the well-being and safety of children by conducting in-home assessments and working collaboratively with community agencies.
