- Conduct assessments and investigations related to child safety concerns
- Perform in-home visits and safety evaluations
- Document all case management activities accurately
- Collaborate with law enforcement and legal teams for case reviews
- Assist in developing and monitoring safety plans
- Participate in court proceedings and provide professional recommendations
- Ensure compliance with agency protocols and policies
Required:
- No specific certifications or experience required, but prior investigation or social work experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive situations professionally
- Experience in child welfare investigations
- Background in social services, psychology, or related fields
- Knowledge of child safety assessment protocols
This position supports child safety investigations for a leading facility in Kokomo, Indiana. The role involves conducting initial and ongoing safety assessments, in-home visits, and preparing reports for legal review—all critical to protecting children and supporting families in need.
