Materials Coordinator Intern (Year-Round)

Borg Warner Power Drive Systems is looking for a dynamic, results‑driven individual to support accurate inventory management for material flow to support prototype builds. The role involves using SAP, PEPS, Power Pick, and X‑ray scanning equipment to verify and maintain inventory in a fast‑paced operational environment.

• Perform daily electronic reel scans using X‑ray equipment to verify material quantities; relabel reels as needed and return to inventory locations
• Receive and put away raw materials into designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization and accuracy
• Conduct routine cycle counts for mechanical materials to maintain inventory accuracy and support audit requirements
• Support inventory management activities using SAP, PEPS, and Power Pick systems, including transactions, tracking, and data updates

• Currently enrolled in or graduated from an accredited college or university
• GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to lift and move materials within standard safety guidelines
• Ability to learn and operate warehouse technology, including X‑ray scanning equipment and automated storage systems (e.g., Power Pick)
• Availability to work scheduled hours on‑site

• Pay Range: $18.25 - $23.00 per hour
